Monday, December 9th at 5:17am before my alarm clock even thought about making a sound, I was alerted via text message that school was closed!
Despite the fact that it had snowed most of the day Sunday, a day off from school was VERY unexpected!
How did you find out school was closed? Did you constantly check the scrolling banner across the bottom of the television screen? Did you check your school's website? The first snow day of the year is not only a much appreciated day to catch up, but also a friendly reminder to subscribe to emergency alerts!
